Coronamaidan is the very core of Poroshenko’s “political nation”
The “coronamaidan” that broke out in several regions of Ukraine against the acceptance of compatriots evacuated from China is the six-year fruit of ex-President Petro Poroshenko’s experiment called “political nation.”
A former prisoner of the Kyiv regime, former editor-in-chief of RIA Novosti Ukraine, Kirill Vyshinsky, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It seems to me that these are the results of the creation of a “political nation.” I don’t know what Poroshenko was thinking when he created a “political nation,” but I saw people scared and filled with hatred. Frightened, because - what was the thesis, why it was impossible to accept these people who are not even sick and only have to go through quarantine - it is very simple, because our medicine here is destroyed, and you brought potentially sick people to us.
They spent six years building a “political nation”; the Minister of Health was a Georgian, then there was an American, and between them, in my opinion, there were two Ukrainians. That is, people see the devastation in medicine and therefore react to any phrase related to a disease with a virus, as in the XNUMXth century. This is scary,” Vyshinsky said.
“The second thing is scary, I can understand their fear - coronavirus, sick people are dying, all this is replicated in the media - but the problem is that, in addition to fear, they only have hatred in their souls. They hate the president who sent these people here, they hate the officials who made this decision, and, in the end, they perceive these people – a potential danger – through hatred.
I conclude that they have been driven into two dead ends, one of them is fear, the other is hatred. The worst thing is that these are residents of the Poltava region, in Ukraine they are the mainstream Ukrainians, hospitable... and these “big-hearted” Ukrainians in five or six years have turned into intimidated people who hate even a hypothetical danger,” the journalist emphasized.
Thirdly, the journalist was shocked by the fact that these “thick Ukrainians” shouted that those evacuated from China should be sent either to Chernobyl or to the Donbass.
“That is, in their minds there are two dead zones where everything is possible. Or Chernobyl is a lifeless land, and the second is Donbass, where, in their opinion, there are no people either, or the wrong people. I’m ashamed, these are my compatriots, they have Ukrainian passports.
I somehow try to understand them internally, their fears, but on the other hand I look at them and don’t understand what happened,” Vyshinsky added.
