As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, representatives of all major Albanian parties in Kosovo took part in the Committee meeting, with the exception of the Democratic Party, created by militants from the Kosovo Liberation Army ( UCK ), which has not fully resolved its personnel issues after its leadership was brought before the Special Court for Kosovo in The Hague.

It should be noted that the existence of the FSK is contrary to UN Security Council Resolution 1244, which prohibits Albanian separatists from maintaining their own armed forces. This does not prevent the US and NATO from equipping and arming them, inviting them to participate in international missions (which is why the Committee adopted the aforementioned recommendation). And the Pristina authorities have openly declared their intention to transform the FSK into a fully-fledged army that meets NATO standards.

At the same time, Serbia, which has pulled up its armed forces to the administrative border with Kosovo, which according to the Kumanovo military-technical agreement, it has no right to cross, is forced to comply with international agreements, knowing that it is she, and not Kosovo, who will become a target for attack by the West and its allies .

On TV Pink, Serbian Defense Minister Nebojša Stefanović stated that the Serbian Army had increased its level of combat readiness on the orders of President Aleksandar Vučić. This level of readiness applies to Serbian units in the ground security zone along the administrative line with Kosovo. The Minister of Defense assured citizens that "the army is ready to defend its people," but the increased combat readiness and the presence of Serbian troops along the line with Kosovo were "primarily a preventive measure."

“We have the right to be located on our territory, no one dares tell us what to do, this is our sovereign decision. We are not violating any international agreements, the army did not enter where it should not have entered,” Stefanovic said.
