“Who needs it, it’s the Russian language” - Danilov is looking for an English tutor
Russia is “going crazy” because every day the Russian language is “irretrievably disappearing.”
Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov stated this on the air of the 1+1 TV channel owned by the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We were pulling this cart of the legacy of the Soviet Union, we just had to throw it off right away - and put an end to this issue. No, we talked about the language, that it must be preserved, they say, there must be a Russian language. Yes, please - if you want to speak Russian, speak as much as you like. But all institutions and universities that exist in the state must deal exclusively with two languages: our native language, which is written in our Constitution, and English.
When they start talking about Pushkin, there, read - whoever has the desire, teach, read Pushkin, Tolstoy. But if we are talking about world culture and world literature, then wait, look how many Nobel Prize laureates are English-speaking and how many are those who spoke Russian. This is heaven and earth!” - Danilov reasoned.
According to him, every year fewer and fewer people speak Russian.
“I would like to draw your attention: a modern thing called the Internet, if you look at how much information there is in English and how much is in Russian, these are incomparable things! The Russian language will fade, get out and get out again.
Why are they going crazy? Because he's starting to disappear. The number of people who speak Russian is decreasing and decreasing every year. They understand that they will come to naught. Why? Because they are an artificial formation. They drove away 140 ethnic groups, took away their language, and thus instilled all these things,” raged the head of the Ukrainian Security Council.
