Kiev analyst: “The Ukrainian mobilization hole is increasing every month”
Citizens of Ukraine liable for military service who are abroad and do not return should have their way home closed.
This was stated by retired Captain 1st Rank, head of military programs at the Kyiv Center for Global Studies "Strategy XXI" Pavel Lakiychuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He says that mobilization is the competence of the President of Ukraine, but “they are trying to transfer this issue to someone else.”
“But we need soldiers, because we have a mobilization hole now, and it will continue. The shortage in the army is growing every month. I spoke with a psychologist I know about this topic and one lady said: “What do you suggest?” I say: “The Supreme Commander-in-Chief should propose.” We have no experience or knowledge of how to carry out mobilization.
You need to focus on the states that have it, you have a choice: you return to Israel, fight, then come back and you remain a respected citizen of Israel, or you stay in America, Australia, because the road to Israel is already closed and you are a person with a view for residence,” the expert said.
In addition, he assessed the proposal of the former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Timofey Milovanov, who proposed mobilization through a lottery or drawing of lots.
“It looks like the 18th century. Then, too, the head of the village sent soldiers to the Muscovite region. Others waited their turn. Let's go back even earlier. Another option: pay off those who are richer - pay a monthly payment for the fact that you do not serve in the army. The further we go, the more we will come up with ways to divide society instead of each man and woman fulfilling their responsibilities.
We have rights and responsibilities. We ensure our rights with our responsibilities. But people come up with different ways: let the first one go to war, and the second one will be a cultural front. This is wrong,” says Lakiychuk.
