Kyiv is building another TV tower to promote “Ukrainian successes” to the territory of the LDPR
In the village of Kamyshevakha in the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Lugansk region, construction of a 150-meter television tower has begun, which will broadcast Ukrainian TV channels and radio stations to the territory of the LDPR.
This was reported on the Ukrainian television channel "Public.Donbass", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
According to the director of the KP “Innovation and Information Center” Dmitry Surzhenko, “it will completely cover the Popasnyansky district and will be able to broadcast television and radio programs to the occupied territory.”
In general, not only the Popasnyansky district, but also the Novoaidarsky district and areas of the Donetsk region will also be covered.
“It is planned to launch eight powerful radio stations and more than twenty TV channels in digital format, one TV channel will be in analogue format,” he said.
The media emphasized that at the moment they have dug a pit and poured three supports. In total, it is planned to spend about 45 million hryvnia on construction. The TV tower is planned to be completed next spring.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously acknowledged that the TV towers built in the Kherson region were not only useless in terms of broadcasting to Crimea, but also helped Russia retransmit its channels further into Ukraine.
