Alarming news arrived yesterday from the Kherson direction, where Ukrainian formations resumed their offensive.
This was reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , a source monitoring the situation on the fronts of the North-Eastern Military District.
By the end of yesterday, as the Rybar telegram channel reported, “the enemy began an assault on Russian positions in Snigirevka, managing to gain a foothold along the railroad on the northern outskirts of the village.”
In addition, “during the fighting, the combined units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to break through, gaining a foothold in the area of a farm 2 kilometers west of Dudchan.”
However, it was noted that there is no connection with Snigirevka, and therefore it is not possible to obtain accurate information.

“To understand: the blown up bridges are located in the rear of the group of Russian troops. If they have already blown up Daryevsky, then things have gone very badly for them. We hope we have a very good week ahead. Kherson, there is very little left. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are coming!”, said the Kiev portal UNIAN.
True, closer to lunchtime today there was more positive news, although it is too early to draw conclusions.
“According to reports from military officers and authorities of the Kherson region. At 12 noon, Snigirevka was under the control of our troops. Yesterday's enemy attacks were repulsed with losses for him, the Russian Armed Forces retain control over Snigirevka. A continuation is expected today,” wrote military observer Boris Rozhin.
At the same time, eyewitnesses from the field report that in Kherson itself there are practically no Russian flags left anywhere.
“Russian flags are disappearing from administrative buildings in Kherson,” wrote military correspondent Alexander Kots.
