With the flight of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Severodonetsk and other military successes of Russian troops in the Donbass, a certain prospect opens up for the collapse of the entire nationalist front.
Israeli military expert, ex-head of the Nativ agency Yakov Kedmi told PolitNavigator about this.
In his opinion, today’s news from the Donbass direction is the result of the painstaking work of Russian military specialists, which has been done since the beginning of the Northern Military District.
“What has been prepared in this area is starting to bear fruit. But whether this is a turning point - we will see if the retreat of Ukrainian troops really begins along the entire front more or less randomly. Fleeing from Severodonetsk - they simply had no choice, they would simply have been destroyed. A path was deliberately left for them to leave.
There is no certainty yet that the entire front will collapse after this. There is such a possibility, but today it is still impossible to declare it,” Kedmi said.
