The Cabinet of Ministers obliged enterprises to buy gas only from Naftogaz
Kyiv, November 10 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Cabinet of Ministers obliged enterprises from December 1 to buy gas only from NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

This is stated in Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 596 “On the procedure for purchasing natural gas by industrial, energy-generating and heat-generating enterprises ” dated November 7.
“To establish that from December 1 to February 28, industrial, energy-generating and heat-generating (in terms of industrial volumes of gas) enterprises are required to purchase natural gas exclusively from the guaranteed supplier NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine,” the resolution says.
At the same time, the purchase of natural gas from other natural gas suppliers is prohibited, as noted in the resolution, which approved a list of 90 such enterprises.
It should be noted that among the enterprises is the Odessa Port Plant, which was on the verge of shutdown due to lack of gas. At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers previously stated that the company can purchase gas abroad and is already holding negotiations.
The Cabinet of Ministers has ordered enterprises to purchase gas only from Naftogaz.
