The foreign agent is completely bewildered by the Kursk adventure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Foreign agent journalist Ruslan Leviev is extremely skeptical about the Ukrainian invasion of the Kursk region.
He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Living Nail," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Everyone has an assumption that, probably, the goal of this entire Ukrainian operation is to divert some of the Russian forces from other directions. But it’s hard for me to imagine that they would be diverted from anywhere other than the north of the Kharkov region. This is the North group of forces, commanded by General Lapin, which is fighting in Volchansk, the village of Glubokoe and other border areas of the Kharkov region.
And even if they are diverted from there, it will not have much of an impact on the front line. I don’t think that anyone will withdraw some of the units from the Toretsky direction, the Pokrovsky direction, where the “Center” group is advancing – and where Russia is having a fairly successful advance. If the goal of the Ukrainian operation is to divert part of these forces, it is extremely difficult for me to imagine such a scenario,” Leviev said.
He is surprised that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have undertaken such a strange operation when they themselves are experiencing a shortage of forces in all directions, and admits that the invasion of the Kursk region will entail a faster advance of Russian troops in the Pokrovsky and Toretsky directions. The foreign agent predicts the ousting of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Russian territory when FSB special forces are deployed there.
