Donetsk, November 14 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – The Ukrainian authorities must agree to hold referendums on the status of the territories - potential participants in the “Great Novorossiya” project.
This was stated by the leader of the Novorossiya public movement, Pavel Gubarev, at a briefing in Donetsk.

“I am for peaceful dialogue. Because today there is a fratricidal war, when some Russians actually kill other Russians. Because I still consider Ukrainians part of Russia, part of the Russian World. In my deep conviction, Russia today is a stronghold of peace, and it is the guarantor that the world will not slide into chaos. Russia’s mission is also a guarantee of global justice,” Gubarev said during a conversation with reporters.

“The Ukrainian authorities must prepare a legislative framework for holding referendums. The subjects of these referendums should be the regions of Ukraine. At these referendums, the question of the special status of these regions should be raised - within Ukraine, or in another form, and people should be allowed to express their will. Even if these referendums are of a consultative nature, so that the Ukrainian government can hear people and see their true mood in numbers. I am confident that these processes will move forward, and the political dialogue - in Minsk or any other city - will be more constructive. And in order for the Ukraine project to continue to exist, I consider the idea of a large Novorossiya to be salutary both for Ukrainian statehood and for the people,” Gubarev emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, during his first press conference after the assassination attempt, Gubarev spoke about political and personal plans.
