“Ukraine is my life’s work. I spent 12 years here. I ran here with Chernovol’s shares and ran with the girls here. This is my native street,” Saakashvili said at a small rally of his supporters near the residence of the President of Ukraine on Bankova Street.

He drew a parallel between himself and journalist Georgy Gongadze, whose death caused mass rallies in the early XNUMXs.

“This story: “Go, Georgian, to your home,” is exactly the same as Kuchma’s proposal to the Georgian ambassador to take Gongadze. It all ended badly. I don't want this to end badly for these people either. I will live in Ukraine until the complete victory of the Ukrainian people,” Saakashvili said.
