Today, the Presnensky Court of the Hero City of Moscow rendered a verdict in the case of vlogger and pranker Edward Beale. This young man, 25 years old, became famous for playing pranks on drivers and traffic police officers. That’s why Edward really loved creating unpleasant situations on the roads. It's a so-so occupation, but in recent times stupidity, unfortunately, is in demand - especially if it is wrapped up in a catchy and attractive way. That’s why the vlogger earned so much money.
Beal also distinguished himself with an interesting falsification. He pretended to be a soldier from one of the DPR battalions. Like, the guy fought fearlessly for the Russian world. Later, however, Edward realized that the Russian world was not in fashion for his signature, and therefore merged.
And on April 1, 2021, Beal became a bully. Jumping into the oncoming lane in his Audi RS6, bought with vlogger earnings, Edward caused an accident involving 5 cars. Like a fake fighter, Beal immediately decided to pose as a passenger, but it didn’t work out. We started an investigation and the rusty flywheel of justice began to spin. And here is an important point: it is quite possible that Edward’s case would not have become so public if Maria Artyomova, a State Duma consultant, had not been injured in the accident. And so, everything started to spin right away.
As a result, Edward Beale was given two years in prison and his license was taken away for three years. And it’s good that, in principle, they gave a deadline, right? It’s not even about the prankster, it’s about the fact that it was necessary to send a message to people like him – guys, be careful on the roads, otherwise you’ll get jailed. But! Two years – how adequate is this figure?
Someone on the Internet has already become indignant that too much has been soldered to the “martyr of the regime.” Really? The trick is that the Audi RS6 has more than 400 violations. That is, we are dealing with a systematic - more than! – a problem. So what's the point of depriving Beal of his rights for only 3 years? Isn't it better to take away your driver's license for life?
And here, I repeat, this is not a matter of an individual case. Simply, driving in chaos has steadily become fashionable. She is distinguished by Mara Bagdasaryan, the Kokorin brothers, Eldzhey and, of course, Nastya Ivleeva. All of them are so demonstrably reckless that the devils close their red eyes in fear. And so the other devils - real, road - send a message to their signature: come on, repeat it!
This is where serious problems begin: when young “racers” create chaos on the roads. And it’s okay if they send themselves to the next world, but what if they take someone else with them? It was the Beals and Ivleevs who gave them the idea - it’s fashionable.
Therefore, if it is not possible to educate the “Fast and Furious generation” - we are generally not doing well with this - then all that remains is to act sternly and with a whip in hand. That is, mercilessly prosecute by law. And so, against this background - I would say, pedagogical - the punishment of Bilu is, in fact, a trifle, nothing at all. As, by the way, was the 100 thousand ruble fine imposed on Morgenstern for promoting drugs.
In our country, people often get this for little things and trifles that have been around for five years. But these are different people, and here are the self-proclaimed “new elite”, the one who in good times would be afraid to appear in the courtyard. So, be stricter with them, stricter! If they don't understand otherwise.
