He stated this while answering questions from representatives of the Republican Assembly of the LPR.

According to Bolotov, he sees “economic recovery” among the top priorities.

“I think we need to be friends with Russia, so I see the first task for myself to be the entry of our republic into the Customs Union. We must at least take these steps. Naturally, with Ukraine, if there is an opportunity and benefit for our republic, it will also be possible to discuss and make some decisions,” he said.

Let us remind you that the decision to elect the “people’s governor” Bolotov as head of the LPR was made yesterday by the Republican Assembly of the LPR.

As Navigator reported, on May 11, a referendum was held in the Lugansk region, following which 96,2% of voters were in favor of state independence for the region and for the creation of the Lugansk People's Republic.
