Hitler is already being glorified within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada
An exhibition dedicated to the “Act of Proclamation of the Ukrainian State” in alliance with Nazi Germany, which, as is known, was proclaimed in Lviv in 1941, opened in the Verkhovna Rada.
Deputy Yuriy Shukhevych stated this during a briefing on the sidelines of the Ukrainian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine is turning its face to its history. Today, an exhibition dedicated to June 30, 1941, namely, the restoration of Ukrainian statehood, opened in the Verkhovna Rada.
Moreover, this day is the birthday of one of the participants and organizers of this event, later one of the commanders of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army – Roman Shukhevych ( MP Yuriy Shukhevych is his son – editor’s note ).
The fact that today we have independence, and there, in fact, a huge brick of the building that today is called the “Ukrainian state” was laid by this struggle, by these people. And today we are celebrating this day, and these people, and I really ask everyone to visit the exhibition that the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists is holding about this date,” Shukhevych said and handed the floor to his assistant.
“We all know very well how often anti-Ukrainian forces speculate that the act of June 30, 1941 was a collaborationist act that was aimed at cooperation with the Nazi Third Reich. However, the legal analysis of this document, in addition to historically obvious things, suggests the opposite.
First of all, declared cooperation with the Third Reich did not mean subordination to another state. It was a situational declaration that could have been implemented if the Third Reich had not committed anti-human crimes. Subsequently, Croatia and Romania recognized Ukrainian independence, proclaimed by the act of June 30. In addition, the Hungarian regime entered into negotiations regarding the fight against the UPA and, in general, about general measures that mitigated the losses of the parties,” Igor Mamontov tried to justify himself.
The head of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists Stepan Bratsyun showed everyone a “unique artifact.”
“I want to show you one of the important artifacts and symbols that confirmed the power that was elected on June 30, 1941. This is the seal of Ukrainian public administration. We received it through the late deputy Yaroslava Stetsko. Later she will be in a museum dedicated to her,” Bratsyun noted.
