General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “The authorities calm us down. Ukrainians must be prepared for total war."
The Ukrainian government is holding incomprehensible telethons instead of teaching the population to dig trenches and throw grenades.
This was stated by the former deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine and former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Serhiy Krivonos, on Channel Five, owned by former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Military training of the population should now take place in all populated areas,” the general said.
He believes that citizens of Ukraine should be able to “own weapons, administer first aid in accordance with the requirements of tactical medicine, shoot correctly at least 100 meters, dig trenches, throw grenades.”
“Instead of throwing billions into an incomprehensible telethon, which is an information manipulation on the part of the authorities, where everyone is reassured that we are doing well, there should be short training videos, where there will be simple things related to tactical medicine, tactical and technical characteristics of weapons, the basics tactics. All this can be done.
This is the most important thing, you need to invest money there. So far I don’t see this at all. In the rear, the authorities leading the country are not doing this,” Krivonos is indignant.
