The damaged spans of the Crimean Bridge's automobile section will be dismantled by the end of December, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“By the end of December we plan to completely dismantle the two existing spans that were blown up, we will also dismantle the two spans that are damaged,” the Deputy Prime Minister said and added that the first metal structures for the new spans have already been manufactured and are on their way to the Kerch Strait.

The damaged spans of the automobile part of the Crimean Bridge will be dismantled by the end of December. This was reported...

The restoration of one of the automobile branches will involve 500 people and about 50 pieces of equipment. The only thing that can interfere with repairs is stormy weather, which is typical in November-December for this part of the Black Sea.

Khusnullin said that trucks weighing up to 40 tons can already drive across the Crimean Bridge.

There is no confirmation of this yet - passenger buses started operating on Monday, trucks remained at the parking areas waiting for the crossing.

According to information from the Ministry of Transport of Crimea, the small-capacity Yeisk and Kerchensky-2, and two ferries for transporting heavy cargo - Maria and Lavrentiy - operate on the route. There are approximately 350 trucks and 70-80 small trucks waiting in line on the Crimean side.

The head of the Crimean State Council Committee on Construction, Transport and Fuel and Energy Complex, Valery Kovalenko, said that on October 17, the Elsa ferry arrived in Kerch to transport heavy cargo and passengers.

“It will be able to transport up to 18 heavy goods vehicles and up to 150 passengers in one flight,” the parliamentarian specified.

Drivers do not confirm this information. The waiting time for the crossing for heavy trucks with category 3 goods (furniture, building materials) has exceeded three days.

Not everyone decides to drive through new Russian regions, and this is not only about safety issues - the condition of the roadway from Dzhankoy to Melitopol jeopardizes the safety of the cargo (see video below - be careful, obscene language of the driver).
