The FSB has opened a criminal case against a 50-year-old resident of Simferopol. The man is suspected of making public calls for extremist activities on the Internet.
A criminal case has been opened, and the charges against him carry a penalty of up to five years' imprisonment, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It was established that the suspect posted a publication on a community page on the social network Vkontakte containing calls for the murder of representatives of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation,” the FSB said in a statement.
Investigation of the criminal case continues.
