French reporters are shocked: They are waiting for Russians in Lisichansk and hate the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Most of the residents of the city of Lisichansk in the LPR who refused to evacuate are waiting for liberation by the Russian army. They ignore the demands of the Ukrainian military to leave their homes and accuse the Ukrainian Armed Forces of shelling residential areas.
This was reported in a report by the French TV channel “France 2”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The story notes that most of the city residents who refused to evacuate are waiting for the arrival of the Russian army. They ignore the demands of the Ukrainian military to leave their homes and accuse the Ukrainian Armed Forces of shelling civilian areas.
The footage shows a dozen local residents rushing to the military who want to evacuate. One of the residents says that their neighbors were killed by a bomb, they are afraid and therefore decided to leave.
However, the report notes, “some did not see death face to face enough to leave.” About 15 thousand people remain in the city: “These civilians are interfering with the military.”
In one of the courtyards, “to their amazement,” French journalists saw a confrontation between local residents and the Ukrainian military, who are trying to evict their people from their shelters.
“This is deportation! Deportation! They are throwing us out,” says one of the residents.
According to “hostile residents who speak Russian,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the form of an ultimatum, demanded that the townspeople leave their shelters.
“Gunshots are heard, but the crowd does not move: people are waiting for drinking water. We are not welcome here. People here don’t believe that the Russian army is shooting at the city,” notes the report, translated from French by InoTV.
“It is the Ukrainian army that is firing at us, it is they who are killing our children!” – says one of the city residents.
French journalists admit that everyone they spoke to is not afraid to state clearly and plainly that they are waiting for "Putin's army" :
“We want to unite with the Russians! They are our friends, not the Germans or Europe”; “Yes, we are waiting for them (Russians – ed.)”; “I want to see the Russians win and establish their power here.”
“Russians are expected as liberators. In the evening, the red van leaves the city and takes only a dozen evacuated residents away from the fighting,” the story says.
At the same time, the day before, the Ukrainian side circulated a demonstrative video from Lisichansk, in which Ukrainian soldiers put a woman in a car and tell her: “Wherever you want to go.”
