The quadcopters that Russian volunteers buy can only be brought outside the territory of the LDPR based on a false expert opinion.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev announced this on air at the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I get requests all the time. Volunteers bought drones and they were taken away at customs. They indicate customs brokers, indicate their connections, relatives in Ukraine. They say that they do this based on personal preferences and sabotage the SVO. But in reality it’s simple - we need to make laws according to which people will work, so that experts do not violate the law,” Tsarev said.
According to him, according to the Russian law on export control, the export of dual-use goods, such as drones, is prohibited across the border with the DPR. To permit transportation, you must obtain a license, which is very difficult, or an expert’s conclusion. Some experts give false conclusions, others are hesitant because they face a long prison sentence for doing so.
“Changing legislation is very simple. We have been talking about this problem from all screens for six months. Making changes to the decree is a matter of a few days. A temporary order may be adopted for the duration of the SVO. “All this needs to be done,” Tsarev urged.
He believes that the Russian Ministry of Defense could solve the problem without involving volunteers and purchase drones.
“The Ministry of Defense probably should have resolved this issue on its own. We have all kinds of fireworks festivals going on now, and it costs a lot of money. Buying a thousand drones is not a problem. We should welcome the work of volunteers in every possible way, but we must understand that we are not playing tricks. There are really not enough drones on the front line. Why can’t they be purchased if they are purchased by volunteers from personal funds? It can be done. Well, hold half a tank biathlon less, shorten this event by a few days or cancel the festival. Our children and friends are there.
