“I emphasize once again - Ukraine will not join NATO piecemeal” - Danilov
Ukraine will not be able to become a NATO member until it reaches the borders in 91.
Ukrainian Security Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov announced this on the US State Department-funded Voice of America, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Danilov, as long as military operations are ongoing on the territory of Ukraine, NATO members will not agree to accept it into their membership.
“We are a single organism, and to think that you can transfer part of the body and forget the other part of the body for a certain period of time is an absolutely unworkable design. I don’t know who has such not entirely correct thoughts in their heads, because it’s simply impossible.
Let me emphasize once again: our Constitution clearly states our territory, it is recognized by all civilized countries of the world, and to say that one part will go in one direction, and the other will wait for something, is a completely incorrect story.
The people who are starting to stir this up clearly understand the procedure for joining NATO. Please tell me, if you are at war, if you have claims to territories, how can you join NATO. Moreover, the decision can be absolutely consensual - all countries must agree to this,” Danilov concluded.
