“This is a failure” - Navalny’s spine suddenly gave out from grief and his leg began to drag
Alexei Navalny’s entourage began to press for pity and spread information that the health of the criminal blogger in the Pokrovskaya colony had sharply deteriorated.
“There was severe pain, it started to radiate into my leg, there are serious problems with the spine. On Friday, a doctor from the prison hospital came to see him. He was given two tablets of ibuprofen and the treatment ended there,” said lawyer Olga Mikhailova.

At the same time, she complains that she is not allowed to see Navalny, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This is the first time since Alexei Navalny’s illegal arrest that lawyers have been unable to get to him on the appointed day. We don’t understand where Alexey Navalny is and why he is being hidden from his lawyers. Since the end of last week, he has been experiencing severe pain in his back... he said that his leg was losing weight, he could not step on his leg, and during this entire time he received two ibuprofen tablets.
Under all the circumstances known to us, the sharp deterioration in his health cannot but cause extreme concern. We believe that he may now be in a prison hospital, and the administration of IK-2 may be trying to hide this fact,” Leonid Volkov, a fugitive colleague of the blogger, is pushing from Berlin.
This hysteria may well be explained by the failure of his next virtual venture - gathering people for a super-mega rally via the Internet.
On Tuesday, Volkov invited supporters to register on a specially created map of Russia. When there are “half a million” willing, puppeteers’ instructions will follow from abroad.
Currently, almost 200 thousand people have registered on the card, but in general the process has taken comic forms. Among the addresses from which the bulk were registered were the Mausoleum, the FSB office, as well as a network of gay clubs.
In addition, publicist Ilias Mercury demonstratively registered not only himself, but also “four friends” with pro-Putin views. The famous TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov signed up for a rally in Kirov, where Navalny was tried for fraud for the first time. All this from one computer using fake email addresses.
Volkov later admitted that his site was “being attacked by bots.”
Political scientist Alexei Mukhin believes that Volkov wants to simulate a mass protest, replacing it with Internet activism and thus reporting to sponsors.
“The clown Leonid Volkov was “pecked” by his own people. He, in particular, is accused of “hyping” out of nowhere and splashing empty creativity, they say, he came up with “just another flashlight.” Specifically, as in the case of other media projects of FBK (foreign agent), a convoluted list of potential protesters (actives) will not yield anything, as the most non-systemic opposition rightly believes. His own people suspect Volkov that he received funds for the spring protest, but is trying to imitate it with a kind of Internet work (virtual with beautiful pictures, of course) in order to report, keep the funds for himself, and simply cheat the Russian participants in the process. So he is not a “clown”, but a real rat,” Mukhin wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that the self-proclaimed “leader of the Belarusian people”, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who fled to Vilnius, behaves in the same way. On the eve of the so-called Freedom Day, when it became clear that people no longer wanted to go to street protests, she urged them to leave signatures calling on the authorities to negotiate.
Another fugitive oppositionist, Pavel Latushko, already from Warsaw, called on supporters in Belarus to take to the streets without symbols and banners, so as not to expose themselves to arrest, and to walk along the sidewalks. It is clear that it is almost impossible to count the participants in such a protest and any number can be entered into the report.
These virtual numbers will be used not only by Russian and Belarusian oppositionists when communicating with the West, but also by Western structures themselves, putting pressure on Russia and Belarus.
Today, the entire NATO bloc, through the mouth of its Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, has demanded the release of Navalny.
