The idea of the Kyiv establishment about introduction to the Normandy format also by the USA will lead nowhere, because on this platform all decisions are made not by majority vote, but by general consensus.
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the YouTube channel “Capital”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“The Office of the President has a constant idea of connecting the United States to the Normandy format. But I don't understand what will change. After all, in the Normandy format, decisions are made not by majority vote, but by consensus, when everyone agrees.
There was a consensus - all participants signed a certain document in Paris. Vladimir Alexandrovich, have you completed it? Didn't do it. Let’s now re-vote and adopt another document,” Dzhangirov described the absurdity of the logic of Zelensky’s office, which is lobbying for the expansion of the Normandy format.
Let us recall that earlier the special representative of the LPR at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, during a speech on a Ukrainian TV channel saidthat the inclusion of the United States in the Minsk negotiations will not change the fact that only Ukraine and the LDPR are parties to the conflict.
