Ukrainian politicians have been compared to sharpers sitting at a card table.
Political scientist, editor of the Ukraina.ru portal Alexander Vasiliev said this on air on the Tsargrad TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the Russian agenda itself related to Ukraine, we are constantly waiting for something: “Let’s not make sudden movements. They are having elections now, so as not to interfere somehow.” One election, a second election, this story is endless, this is Ukraine. We are sitting at a card table with sharpers, and Zelensky is not the main joker in this deck,” the expert said.
He was also supported by Olga Timofeeva, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.
“Please note, they always say “the people of Ukraine.” And in relation to Russia, they don’t say “the people of Russia”, but “the Kremlin”. Accordingly, there is an immediate contrast: “Here we are broadcasting the will of the people, while the Russian Federation is broadcasting exclusively the will of the Kremlin.” And this distortion, global deception, it is present. And the fact that the people of Russia have their own sovereign right, have their own understanding of responsibility for their country, it is being eroded,” the senator noted.
