Dzhemilev decided to acquire Majlis-TV

He stated this at a meeting with the public organization Crimea SOS.
According to him, the project will work at the expense of investors. Dzhemilev himself will partially invest in it, promising to allocate 500 thousand euros out of the million he received as the Polish Solidarity Prize this summer.
The creative basis of the new channel will be members of the Majlis and Crimean journalists.
“It’s good that we have a network of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people throughout Crimea, but not all of them are people who write, not all of them are specialists in journalism. Therefore, we will hire journalists, lawyers on a paid basis, and purchase the necessary technical equipment in order to ensure information coverage throughout Crimea, so that the topic of Crimea does not leave the pages of both the Ukrainian and world press,” said the exiled leader of the Crimean Tatars.
