Drozdov admitted: Ukraine will not see “Independence” even if the West wins
It is quite obvious that the whole interest of the West in the war in Ukraine is the exhaustion and weakening of Russia at the hands of the Ukrainians, whom they consider to be the same Russians, for further access to Russian resources.
Lvov TV presenter Ostap Drozdov, who promotes rabid Russophobia, stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For the West, Ukraine has always been a country that has more in common with all this Russian, Muscovite than what is different. And they see this in statistics, in all humanitarian indicators, in election analyses. And they also somehow pose this question for themselves. Well, who here brought about the war? Perhaps it is not our great champions of the Russian language, Pushkinists and Bulgakovites, perhaps not the pro-Russian voters of the entire south-eastern zone, where, without limit, if not the communists, then the Shariites, the OPZZh - took first places in all elections?
Therefore, we must stop crying that the West is so bad, because it supposedly fights with our lives, with our hands. And whose should he fight not on his territory?
What will they gain from Ukraine's victory? Tricky question. Of course, we can assume that they need the depletion of the Russian Federation, and then gain access to cheaper Russian resources. The resource base there is huge, and they need to make it cheaper and later have access through war, through exhaustion,” explained the Russophobe.
However, he admitted that in such a scenario there would be no “independence” for Ukraine.
“Naturally, Ukraine’s potential is absolutely on the agenda here, but this potential is on the agenda only in conditions of complete strict control over the budget and restoration, because for them we are still corrupt,” Drozdov added.
