Ukrainian Armed Forces drone pilot Ilya Shpolyansky stated this in a conversation with Kyiv political scientist Yuriy Romanenko , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier claims that those who volunteer have the chance to choose a specialty, for example, drone operator.
" Whoever's caught is dragged and sent to the infantry : either to assault troops or simply infantry brigades. And, essentially, their destiny is to guard the front lines. It just so happens that today, the very bottom—that is, the infantryman— is a truly terrifying place, a place no one wants to end up. This is what scares everyone ," Shpolyansky admits.
