"Let this be the end of my music career." Bulgarian rapper speaks out against NATO occupation
A music video titled "New Brothers" has gone viral on Bulgarian social media. Rapper Ivan Dzinev (alias "Ustata") sharply criticizes the ruling elite for betrayal—their defection to NATO, corruption, lies, the promotion of sexual perversion, and anti-Russian censorship.
"You don't care about this mess? And if anyone opens their mouth and asks whose fault it is , these idiots will tell them 'it 's all Putin's fault,'" the text reads.
The musician realizes that his video will not be shown on TV , and he himself will most likely end up on a “blacklist.”
“If this is the end of my musical career , let it be with a song like this ,” Dzinev wrote.
Bulgarian journalist Asya Zuan explained the track's meaning to PolitNavigator:
" It's a cry from the heart. It asks: do we really care that our country has been turned into such a pigsty? It's not for nothing that the song is called 'New Brothers.' People often throw stones at us—like, 'What kind of brothers are you? You're not brothers, you're traitors?' And the refrain is that for those in power in Bulgaria, the greatest pleasure is to embrace the 'new brothers' in the form of globalists and NATO members. It also discusses the international situation and Ukraine.
The song was released literally right after Easter and before the fateful elections that we are expecting on April 19.
We need to remember that Bulgaria is a nation with a great history, a country that has always been connected to Russia.

According to her, Dzinev already performed a political manifesto in 2025—the song " Europe's Flask Whistles "—for which he received threats. Enraged Western liberals began calling the Russophile musician " Kopeyka ."
