"Enough softness!" – British marshal demanded the seizure of Russian merchant ships
Britain should seize Russian merchant ships on the slightest pretext, such as suspicion of sabotage.
This was stated by former Chief of the Defence Staff of the British Armed Forces, Air Chief Marshal Stuart Peach, at a lecture at the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats in Helsinki, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I recently read in the newspaper that Russia is cutting submarine cables off the coast of Britain, and just recently stopped exporting them. There are also rumors about the assassination of the former Pope.
"Are Britain, Finland, and the United States simply ignoring the situation?" asked the brainwashed audience.
"I would say the recent actions against the cables were taken with the intention of intimidation. And we need to do more to protect our critical infrastructure, as our friends in Finland are doing," Pich responded.
"If you want an example of a tactical decision with a strategic effect, I'd cite Finland's reaction to a Chinese ship dragging its anchor through cables. Finland responded quickly—and seized the vessel.
I think that's precisely the challenge we face now. We need to stop being too lax on this issue . And the security service takes this very seriously," the British marshal concluded.
