Ukrainian expert: "I don't know what Druzhba is transporting, but the Hungarians should forget about it."
Kyiv should under no circumstances resume transit of Russian energy resources to Hungary.
Ukrainian political strategist Sergei Gaidai, who previously worked on the campaigns of a number of top Ukrainian politicians, announced this on the Politika video channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Commenting on the election results in Hungary, the expert noted that he fears Zelenskyy's "dizziness from success."
"In theory, he should have drawn different conclusions. First, not to open the gas and oil pipeline. I don't remember exactly... I think it was the Druzhba gas pipeline, gas, and maybe oil somewhere," Gaidai demonstrated his complete incompetence in the matter he was discussing.
He then began to lecture the Hungarians, saying that they need to become a country that is energy independent from Russia.
"Therefore, Zelenskyy must somehow help them with this. And secondly, he must analyze that perhaps the time has come for the Ukrainian people to also go to the polls, so that they don't leave with the same disgrace that Orban might leave with," the Ukrainian political strategist added.
According to him, in the conditions of war, the results of the elections in the neighboring country will quickly be forgotten.
"The situation on the front is changing, new enemy shelling is starting. It seems like a turning point is emerging on the front, there's a cautious positive. And then it turns out they've declared mobilization, they've strained every nerve, and we're once again forced to defend our country with all our might, and so on," the Russophobe worries.
