The United States views Russia not as a partner, but as a competitor in the energy trade, preventing the Americans from establishing a global monopoly.
This was stated on air by the radio station "Moscow Speaks" Director of the National Energy Security Fund Konstantin Simonov, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
