“First, turn Crimea into an island” - Israeli military expert gives advice to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukraine needs to completely isolate the Crimean peninsula, cutting it off from the land corridor, but without Western arms supplies this will be extremely difficult to do.
An Israeli officer, military expert, Yigal Levin, reported this on the air of the Ukrainian channel Politeka, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I don't know how soon—that's the responsibility of the General Staff and the command (of the seizure of Crimea by Ukrainian troops, – ed. ). Plus, it depends on Western arms supplies, as does the entire war. If the US stops supplying weapons, the war will end. Not in Ukraine's favor, of course."
This is also important to remember. Because Ukraine doesn't produce missiles for the MRLS ( American multiple launch rocket system – ed. ), 155-mm shells, and so on. Not to mention the subsidized economy, where the money coming from the EU and the US supports both the salaries of military personnel and the livelihoods of Ukrainians. So, when this will happen, I can't speculate; I'm not in the General Staff," the Israeli expert said.
As for methods, here he expressed confidence that it is necessary to act by turning the Crimean peninsula into an island.
"This is an attack on the Kerch Bridge. We've already seen some interesting events there ( let's wish this 'expert' and his accomplices similar 'interesting events' – ed. ), and a completely open land corridor. That is, by liberating Melitopol, you're cutting Crimea off from the land corridor. And then that's it, Crimea can only be supplied by planes or ships.
Ukraine has “Harpoons” and “Neptune”, ships can easily be sunk with them, plus there are all kinds of kamikaze drones that are sea... It’s hard for me to imagine how it will be to supply ships. Well, the planes get shot down. Ukraine is increasingly receiving all kinds of complex, modern, anti-aircraft systems,” Levin said.
