"Victoria Bonya's demarche will not bring down the front," says political scientist
Russia has a sufficient margin of safety and level of effectiveness so that no internal squabbles will affect the course of the military operations.
This was stated by American political scientist Alexei Naumov on the channel of journalist and foreign agent Alexander Shelest , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" We see statements, for example, from Reshetnikov, that the economic situation isn't as rosy as it used to be . But such statements and objective statistics are used to conduct information campaigns.
Russia and Ukraine are in a state of conflict, and it's clear that both sides are promoting narratives that benefit them. The question that needs to be asked, looking at the conflict from the outside, is how much does this situation harm Russia's ability to continue military operations?
And here we see that the answer is only one: it doesn't interfere. Russia possesses the political control, military-industrial capabilities, and economic reserves to continue military operations until its objectives are achieved.
"And all sorts of difficulties arise in the context of an existential conflict. That is, this conflict is perceived as existential, and therefore, all possible means will be used to achieve the goals within this conflict," Naumov reasoned.
" That is, Victoria Bonya's speech won't lead to the front collapsing, soldiers fleeing, etc. These are two completely different processes. We see some difficulties, some discontent. But if we're talking about the external function of Russia's combat capability and readiness, they don't affect it. And that's what's important to understand."
"That is, combat readiness is essential for combat operations. We see that there is political control, military recruitment , and weapons production, and we see that the Ukrainian side is complaining about the combined heavy shelling. In other words, there is no reduction in effectiveness ," the political scientist asserts.
