"We are open to negotiations, but only with mutual respect," says the Russian Ambassador to Germany.
Russia is not ready to negotiate with those Western countries that are not prepared to respect its position and interests.
Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev announced this at a press conference in Berlin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We are open to negotiations, to normalizing relations with all states that also want this. We are open to equitable dialogue, without anyone pointing the finger at us to show us where we belong ."
After the collapse of the USSR, some people came to the conclusion that we were failures. "And we need to be spoken to in this way, and our place in history and Europe needs to be shown again and again," Nechayev said.
"We disagree somewhat on this. We deserve a little more respect for our history, our traditions , and in all respects. And equal treatment. Only on this basis," the diplomat added.
