We are lagging behind Ukraine in terms of drone technology, says the developer.
Russia lags behind Ukraine in terms of drone range. This is due to the lack of reliable communications like Starlink.
Political scientist and developer of fiber-optic drones for KVN, Alexei Chadayev , announced this on air on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" We're in a phase of some technological lag, because they've already outpaced us at this point. Yes, they're flying further, and they're flying further because their communications are getting better ."
Of course, the fact that they have Starlink and we don't plays a huge role in this . Overall, all our urgent efforts to equalize this parity with communications— we've so far managed to mitigate the situation by about 60 percent—are good enough, but they're not enough ...
What we need to solve now isn't how best to kill the enemy. Rather, it's how to deliver what we need to the front lines without losses, because our main losses are precisely in this delivery process, in what's called "last-mile logistics."
"And how can we ensure that our weapons have a longer range than the enemy? These two challenges now need to be addressed, both technically and organizationally ," Chadayev stated.
PolitNavigator previously reported that attacks on Russian territory continued after the Ministry of Defense published a list of European companies producing drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to war correspondent Alexander Sladkov, it's time for Moscow to begin sabotage operations abroad.
