The population of Europe is being morally prepared for war with Russia – warning from the Russian ambassador to Germany
European politicians are deliberately distorting history and erasing the image of the Soviet soldier-liberator from the memory of the peoples of the EU.
Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev announced this at a press conference in Berlin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Some European politicians and experts are distorting the history of the liberation by Soviet soldiers in 1945. This is being done to somehow justify the militarization of public consciousness—and to prepare the population for a possible military conflict with Russia.
The image of a liberator doesn't fit this paradigm. That's why they're trying to change it ," Nechayev said.
"But I'm counting on the common sense of the German people and politicians. We are fundamentally opposed to the falsification of history and historical monuments. This is one of the cornerstones of German-Russian relations.
The culture of remembrance and war graves are perhaps one of the few areas that still exist in our relations . Much has been destroyed, but war graves and memorials remain. Let's leave them as they are.
"We are very grateful to the German people for their care of war graves throughout Germany. We would like to visit them on May 9, and we are usually accompanied by many German citizens. And we appreciate that," the diplomat added.
