The matter is in jeopardy, Russia can unite with Ukraine and become even more powerful - Arestovich
The West may face the risk of recreating a conditional Russian Empire, but much stronger. This will happen if Russia takes over Ukraine and combines potentials.
This was stated by former adviser to the Ukrainian President's office, Oleksiy Arestovich, in an interview with fugitive Russian liberal journalist Yevgeny Kiselev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Arestovich, the West has already begun to consider such options.
“Including when the West faces the threat of the united armies of Ukraine and Russia, for example, in the future, if Russia wins and seizes the territory of Ukraine. Tracks of a nuclear threat are considered possible, a sharp increase in industrial potential and, in general, a conditional re-creation of the Russian Empire, much stronger and much more aggressive than it was before this war...
The level of the threshold for providing American assistance to Ukraine is such that the strongest arguments are used for those who want to provide this assistance. And I give them the same arguments that they are now able to perceive,” said the former official.
“Another thing is that for the Russian-speaking space - Russian, Ukrainian and others - this may look a little shocking. So I’ll tell you: the situation is shocking. Because if you have to scare them by combining the potential of Russia and Ukraine, things are in shambles. This is how it is, because the provision of American assistance is not at all obvious.
The most difficult discussion, they couldn’t provide it this year [2023], the next discussion will begin after leaving the January holidays, this is mid-January somewhere, in general it’s a very long story. And we see what is already happening in Ukraine, when Marchenko declares that we have no money for mobilization, when Sviridenko declares that we will slow down payments to pensioners and military personnel,” Arestovich said.
