Danilov kept silent about the failure of the “counter-offensive”, passing off as success “the destruction of 20% of the Russian fleet”
The Ukrainian “counter-offensive” was supposedly successful in the Black Sea, although it could not be calculated on the ground.
Ukrainian Security Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov announced this on the US State Department-funded Voice of America, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Danilov was unable to answer the question of how he assessed the counteroffensive itself, reducing its results to demonstrative strikes on the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. He also kept silent about the damage caused to the Ukrainian maritime civil and naval infrastructure.
“If someone thinks that in war you can calculate everything, like in some enterprise, keep in mind that there are a lot of different factors that occur in the process of certain actions that influence certain processes. Of course, we would like to have a much better situation regarding the territorial situation for the liberation of our territory, but keep in mind that in parallel with this process, very large and important events took place in the Black Sea.
Regarding the situation related to the Black Sea, 20% of the Russian Federation fleet is no longer there. Moreover, these are not some scows that hold 5-10-20-30 people. These are huge ships, huge warships that we sent to where we sent the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet “Moscow” on April 13, 22.
What happened tonight is a clear confirmation that our military understands the issue of Crimea - for us it is extremely important, like all our other territories,” Danilov chattered.
