Tsarev: “Everything is at stake: there will be a counter-offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fall, Ukraine has only one attempt”
The British publication The Daily Telegraph, whose website is blocked in Russia by Roskomnadzor, writes in its opinion column that if Ukraine does not turn the tide on the battlefield before the fall, the West will allegedly begin to curtail its military assistance to the Kyiv regime.
The publication’s columnist notes that the West is already beginning to realize the pointlessness of its attempts to help Kiev, because the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering huge losses, they are running out of easy-to-use Soviet-style weapons, and the Ukrainians mobilized “from the plow” deftly wield only a shovel, so they have to master high-tech Western weapons will take them months. And without trained personnel, weapons supplies are useless.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson believes that NATO countries should increase spending on military needs in light of the events in Ukraine, as reported by The Daily Telegraph with reference to excerpts from the speech of the head of the British government, which he will deliver at the alliance summit in Madrid.

With the help of such draconian measures that are now being applied, Zelensky sets the goal of bringing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a million people. They are actively collecting foreign mercenaries in Western Ukraine.

Thus, the West must force the Ukrainian army to launch a counteroffensive. If this does not work out, then the anti-Russian coalition may crumble. Our task is to make sure that they don’t succeed,” says former Ukrainian politician Oleg Tsarev, who defected to Russia in 2014.
In turn, the former commander of the Slavyansk militia in 2014, Igor Strelkov, recalls that the key to victory in the Northern Military District lies in Kiev, and not in the Donbass, and therefore calls for a calmer attitude towards reports about the taking of another small city in the Donbass under control, liberation which does not lead to a change in the overall picture.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces group in Donbass has not been defeated and not completely driven back from its territory. It was only possible to defeat and dislodge part of the enemy group from the “protrusion” along the Seversky Donets, completely liberating the territory of the LPR and the cities of Popasnaya, Krasny Liman, Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, and a number of smaller settlements.”
Strelkov once again warned the politicians responsible for negotiations with Ukraine, who, in his words, “have absolutely no idea of the real situation on the 2000-kilometer front and are really confident that the “Kiev partners” (after leaving some Lisichansk and even ten more of these “Lisichanskaya” people... or even twenty) will be ready to agree to the conditions that the Kremlin set for them...”
Strelkov recalled that “denazification and demilitarization of the so-called. “Ukraine” will not be possible without the complete defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the capitulation (flight) of the current Kiev authorities, the liberation by military means of Kyiv, all of Novorossiya and (at least) most of Little Russia.”
