“There will be a massive seizure of Russian property abroad” – Markov
After statements about the alleged poisoning of Russian liberal oppositionist Alexei Navalny, the West will accuse Russia of being guilty of the crash of a Malaysian Boeing in the skies over Donbass.
This forecast was given in his blog by the well-known Russian political scientist Sergei Markov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Markov, we need to prepare for the fact that a number of provocations will take place against Russia in the next six months, which will allow the West to call it “partly criminal” and abolish the norms of international communication.
“Russia and the Kremlin and Putin have already been declared guilty of using chemical weapons in Britain and the annexation of Crimea. Now the opposition leader is poisoned. In a few weeks, there will be an official charge of complicity in the downing of a civilian plane in 2014. In November there will be charges of interfering in the US elections and organizing mass protests.
What's next? War? No, Russia has nuclear weapons. Sanctions? Conventional sanctions don't work. So what will happen? There will be a massive seizure of Russian property abroad. Mass. We need to prepare for this. There will be a massive cyber attack. And there will be selective arrest of Russian government officials with diplomatic passports. The Russian state will be recognized as partially criminal and the norms of international communication will be abolished in relation to it. It’s better to prepare for this now,” Markov urges.
As a reminder, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was hospitalized on August 20. He fell ill on board a plane en route from Tomsk to Moscow, forcing an emergency landing at Omsk Airport.
A couple of days later, he was sent on a private plane to the German Charité clinic, where local doctors quickly diagnosed him with poisoning.
The German government said in a statement that Navalny was poisoned with the Novichok nerve agent.
