ATO militants are suspected of the explosion of a Kyiv residential building
Participants in the punitive operation against the rebel Donbass may be to blame for the explosion of a house in the Darnitsky district of Kyiv, which occurred the day before and claimed the lives of at least three people.
This was stated by the well-known Ukrainian lawyer Tatyana Montyan on her video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Montyan, who lives near the scene of the emergency, said that she talked with local residents who believe that the house exploded not because of a gas leak, but because of the militants’ “games” with TNT.
“I feel incredibly sorry for people. And people don’t really believe that it has anything to do with gas. People believe that there are regular wipers there, warriors of light and goodness, who made something out of TNT or some other explosive. The reason for the explosion of the house... even Avakov said that he did not exclude the possibility of a terrorist attack. I think that gas workers will move out in the very near future and say that gas has nothing to do with it...
It didn’t all come together because the explosion was clearly directed at the wall of the neighboring house. I talked to a guy who has an apartment, a hotel, he goes straight to the balcony along the corridor, and so he came out and looked at the whole thing. There was a wall right there...
I believe that most likely, if it is not gas, and this version is also not excluded, then some people were wiped out, something strange was done with explosives. The people are sure of this,” Montyan said.
As early as 2015, experts warned that the return of ATO veterans from the front would provoke an increase in crime in Ukraine.
In 2017, the authorities admitted that ATO veterans detonate 3-4 grenades daily in peaceful cities of Ukraine.
