Failed fugitive economist took responsibility for Prigozhin's rebellion
Foreign agent economist Sergei Guriev, who is developing anti-Russian sanctions at Stanford University in the USA, realizing their ineffectiveness, decided to take credit for Yevgeny Prigozhin’s rebellion last year.
He stated this in an interview with the Voice of America, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“By the way, there was also a split in the elites. For example, the rebellion of Yevgeny Prigozhin is a split in the elites. It was fueled from within, but not according to the script. Joe Biden did not call Yevgeny Prigozhin and did not say that he needed to go to Moscow. Yevgeny Prigozhin is his own Kremlin tower. His mutiny was due to the fact that he did not have enough shells.
And there weren’t enough shells because sanctions were imposed. Yevgeny Prigozhin said: “You are not giving me shells, I am not happy with this and am ready to speak from my tower against another tower - Shoigu and Gerasimov,” Guriev chattered.
He places further hopes on the Russian Guard, which will refuse to “shoot at pensioners who will take to the streets because of low pensions in order to overthrow Putin.”
