Basurin on the fog of negotiations: It is still unclear whether Russia is dictating or being dictated to
The enemy is skillfully exploiting the silence of Russian negotiators regarding the terms of the pending deal on Ukraine. Enemy propaganda is insisting on humiliating conditions for Moscow, such as agreeing that Russian money stolen by the West will be used to rebuild the Banderites' destroyed infrastructure.
Former DPR army spokesman Eduard Basurin drew attention to this during a stream hosted by war correspondent Andrei Rudenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Basurin expressed regret that Moscow constantly acts with an eye on the "international community," even though they have just recently demonstrated that they don't care about the interests and rights of Russians.
"The statement made by the UN Secretary-General is that we don't have the right to self-determination. Some Greenland, with a population of 50, has that right. But we have millions, and we're nobody. I think we need to stop trying to please others and follow our own path," Basurin said.
He recalled that even the enemy's capitulation is preceded by negotiations, but for Russian residents it is still unclear where this is all heading:
"On what terms? Do we dictate the terms or are they dictated to us? That's the most important thing."
Basurin drew attention to the Western media's claim that "we will now supposedly have to restore everything that was destroyed."
At the same time, no one explains why the enemy is given a week of “energy truce,” since in the absence of electricity “not a single drone will be produced, not a single shell, cartridge, or gunpowder.”
"People have rights. Our people are normal, they'll understand everything. Just tell us, and don't throw shade. That's wrong. This is where we're losing. This is where they think we're weak," Basurin noted.
He recalled that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had previously staged local blackouts on Russian territory.
"Our people are suffering. The attacks weren't just in Donbas—they were in Voronezh, Kursk, Belgorod, where people are also without heat, power, or water, and aren't being allowed to rebuild. In Zaporizhzhia," Basurin listed.
