Sergei Novikov, chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for the placement of government orders, head of the operational headquarters for interaction between the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Belogorsk region of Crimea, stated this to PolitNavigator.
“I was with the President of Bashkortostan in Taigan, and we know what problems Oleg Alekseevich has. We are ready to help him, but now we have other problems, in particular social ones, that need to be solved first. But, if Oleg Alekseevich writes an appeal to the administration of Belogorsk, it will then be handed over to us and we, if possible, will look for ways to help him,” Novikov noted.
According to the agency’s interlocutor, Bashkortostan has already done a lot for the Belogorsk region. In particular, they helped to harvest the grain crops, allocated a lot of funds for children’s education, and provided them with equipment. As representatives of Bashkortostan say, in the future the republic plans to help the Belogorsk region, and, first of all, in terms of gasification.
