Azerbaijan and Armenia will be able to achieve peace only as part of a large unified state, such as the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire.
State Duma deputy Yevgeny Fedorov announced this on the Belrusinfo internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The politician emphasized that Russia must, through the courts, seek recognition of the collapse of the USSR as illegal and demand the return of lands.
“We must clearly understand for ourselves - since our base is there, since Abkhazia, Ossetia, Transnistria exist, it means that we are planning to restore the Soviet Union. This is the ABC of geopolitics, based on this ABC of geopolitics, we do not need a sovereign Armenia, because at some stage it will be our enemy.
Therefore, in no case do we need to send troops there; we need to, through the courts, oblige Armenia to return to the Russian state and return the territory that they grabbed illegally in 91, and then continue to observe their conflict with the Turks, understanding that it will end with the need on their part to return to the protection of the Russian state. We need this not for the sake of Armenia, but for the sake of restoring our fatherland (within the borders of) 41,” Fedorov said and emphasized that Armenia today stands at a fork in the road, and the only way to preserve its identity is to return to greater Russia.
“There are three ways. The first way is to lie down under the Turks and NATO and be destroyed because you are enemies. The second way is to play at separatism and still be destroyed, only by more brutal methods, and, finally, the third way, as your grandfathers, great-grandfathers and great-great-grandfathers decided, is to return to the united fatherland.
Voluntary, but based on the law. This is called voluntary-compulsory. And then this fatherland will solve your security problems, as it has always solved - here is a simple scheme. And in this case, hostilities will end, a single state, a single fatherland and the Armenian people will be restored, and the Turkish people will have a huge state at their disposal, with the help of which they will grow and raise their level,” Fedorov concluded.
