The automobile giant started a Belarusian scam
The Belarusian representative office of the South Korean automobile company Hyundai decided to play up the controversial issue of the name of the country in its advertising.
“Belarus, not Belarus, Hyundai, not Hyundai,” says the slogan.

The official name of the country in Belarusian is “Belarus”, in Russian it is “Belorussia”. President Alexander Lukashenko alternately uses one word and then another.

Belarusian nationalists periodically intervene in the dispute waged by academic philologists of the two countries, talking about the “empire of Moscow.” It is obvious that the South Korean company tried to attract the attention of this particular audience to its products.
“They sent me a fruitful debut idea from my small homeland. “Figvam, not the Russian market” would look most logical here,” Russian journalist Yuri Vasiliev responded to the Hyundai billboard in his telegram channel.
