In Ukraine, since the beginning of the war in Donbass, 232 volunteer fighters have been killed, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov announced this on his Facebook page.
Another 799 volunteers, according to Avakov, were wounded.
As you know, today, March 14, Ukraine celebrates the so-called “Volunteer Day” - in honor of the nationalist militants who set out in the spring and early summer of 2014 to pacify the Donbass as part of volunteer battalions, many of which later earned themselves a bad criminal reputation. The Verkhovna Rada adopted a corresponding resolution at a meeting on January 17, 2017.
Avakov counted the number of nationalist battalion fighters killed in Donbass since the war began.
