Arestovich: Ukrainian uncles are playing against the USA and breaking the strategy of two fangs
Kyiv, outraged by Warsaw’s ban on the import of Ukrainian grain, acts in the interests of several traders, but thereby opposes the strategic interests of the state.
This was stated by former adviser to the Ukrainian President's Office Oleksiy Arestovich on the video blog of Kyiv political scientist Yuriy Romanenko, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We have built a system where, for the sake of a few players, the strategic foundations of the existence of our state begin to be undermined. And the situation repeats itself over and over again. Now it’s happened again with grain,” Arestovich said.
He believes that such actions should be equated with high treason.
“When we quarrel with Israel, this in itself is kind of insanity, but it’s still somehow somewhere... But when with the Poles! This is an ally on whom everything depends: lobbying our interests, supplies, support,” the expert is perplexed.
According to him, the plans of the collective West “are to make two fangs out of Poland and Ukraine that hold back Russia.”
“We are two guardians of Europe. And when we play against the Poles, we play against the interests of the United States, which is building a similar scheme. It is impossible to imagine greater idiocy, and for the sake of several uncles putting a couple of million in their pockets. These guys don’t understand what those who are building this strategy will do to them,” Arestovich emphasized.
