Ukraine is actively preparing to conduct military exercises “United Effort 2021” to counter the “Russian-Belarusian threat.”
This was stated on the YouTube channel " Politeka " by Oleksiy Arestovich, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office and speaker of the Ukrainian delegation to the "Minsk format", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
They asked him about Russian-Belarusian exercises.
“They have already begun, just an inactive phase, Russian troops have been partially deployed there, they are creating a group,” Arestovich answered. – This group can become a strike force, if necessary. They are tracked by all countries along the perimeter, including from the Baltic countries, through Poland, ending with Ukraine.”
“We are very actively preparing for them. In the sense that we expose our own teaching to their teaching, which is called “United Effort 2021,” and the active phases coincide with each other. It turns out that if they try, we will be ready because we prepare in advance.
The new leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is more than aware of this; comprehensive preparations and scenarios were worked out back in April, and plans are now being refined. We are ready for any development of events from minor provocations to the most serious.
