CIA analyst: “We have awakened a giant in Russia – Washington is scared”
Washington’s irresponsible policy towards Ukraine provoked Russia to rapidly increase its military power, despite the fact that, unlike the US Army, the Russian Armed Forces already have experience in war and victories over forces supported by NATO.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said this on the channel of American journalist Stephen Gardner, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Where the hell is Zelenskyy going to get the number of people he'll need (referring to Zelenskyy's stated figure of half a million mobilized troops – ed.)? Besides, where are they supposed to train? There's no safe training zone in Ukraine because Russia could hit any of them with its hypersonic missiles. You know, that's insane. And then, look at what Russia is doing," he noted.
“What have we done with our policy towards Ukraine? We have awakened a giant in Russia. And now they are building up their military power. And unlike us, these guys have real combat experience. They have real world experience fighting NATO forces, forces that are supported by NATO, supplied with intelligence. And they defeat them. I think that's what alarmed a lot of people in Washington," Johnson concluded.
