The Americans are leaving. Russia has become a great military power - Karasev
A vacuum is being created in Eastern Europe because the United States is losing its former power.
Kiev political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Nash TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why is Poland now starting its activity? Because the Americans and the great powers in general will interfere less and less in the affairs of the middle powers. The US will interfere less in the affairs of Eastern Europe - the EU will do this more. Look at Lukashenko’s reaction with the plane turning around over Belarus. Who spoke out the harshest? Poles and British. Strangely enough, the British want to return to Europe, but as imperialists, as an empire or neo-empire, and not as a member of the EU,” the expert believes.
"Look, the Germans and the French took it calmly, and so did the US. But the Poles are agitated because they see a vacuum in Eastern Europe, and there will be a vacuum in our region. Who will fill this vacuum, the Americans? They don't have the strength—not that they want to leave, but they don't have the strength to control the entire world. The Americans are leaving Afghanistan. You can't be the sole leader of the world, because there's China and Russia, which has become a great military power ," Karasev said.
As a reminder, Moscow previously stated that the war they tried to provoke in Donbass last spring was intended to force Russia to take responsibility for Ukraine.
